01Using Bible Bestie
These Terms of Use govern the Bible Bestie app, website, and related content provided by Future Gen Sync LLC. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. You must be at least 13, or the minimum age required by applicable law; a parent or guardian must authorize use and purchases where required. You are responsible for using the service lawfully and protecting access to your device or account.
02Personal use and your content
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Bible Bestie for personal, lawful purposes, subject to these terms and applicable App Store rules. You retain the rights you have in notes, messages, and other content you provide. You authorize us and our service providers to process that content only as needed to deliver, maintain, and protect the service and meet applicable obligations. Do not submit content you lack permission to use.
03Scripture and conversation
Bible Bestie supports Scripture reading, learning, and personal reflection. The reader identifies the translation in use. Conversation responses and commentary are produced through automated processing and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or reflect an interpretation you do not share. Verify quotations and read referenced passages in context. Voice names are companion labels, not portrayals of biblical people. The app does not speak on behalf of God, a church, or a religious authority and does not guarantee a spiritual or emotional outcome.
04Not professional or emergency advice
Bible Bestie is not a medical, mental health, legal, financial, or emergency service. Content and conversations are not a substitute for qualified professional care or advice. The app cannot monitor your safety or guarantee that a person will review a message. If you need urgent assistance, contact your local emergency service or an appropriate professional directly.
05Free access, memberships, and limits
Free features, included allowances, and premium benefits are described in the app. A one-time introductory Live gift is distinct from recurring subscription minutes. Daily or monthly allowances apply to the stated period and do not imply unlimited use. Annual billing does not mean the entire year’s monthly allowance is supplied at once. Audio Bible and podcast playback do not consume Live minutes. Feature availability may depend on app version, connectivity, region, and access status.
06Subscriptions and billing
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple account at the price and billing interval displayed before confirmation. They renew automatically unless canceled through Apple’s subscription controls within the timeframe stated at purchase. You may manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings. Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Local taxes, currencies, offers, and prices may vary; the purchase screen controls. Material price changes are handled with notices or consent where required.
07Live minute boosts and refunds
Live boosts are one-time purchases of additional conversation time; they are not subscriptions and do not unlock other premium features. Unused purchased boost minutes do not expire. They have no cash value and are not transferable except where required by law. Subscription allowances and introductory gifts are separate from purchased boosts. Requests concerning refunds for App Store purchases are handled through Apple’s refund process and applicable consumer law. These terms do not exclude any mandatory refund or other consumer right.
08Downloads and availability
Available audio and podcasts may be downloaded for personal offline listening, subject to the access terms displayed in the app. A download does not grant ownership or unrestricted redistribution rights, and premium access may require periodic verification. We may update content, correct errors, or temporarily interrupt access for maintenance, security, or events beyond reasonable control. If a paid service is materially discontinued, applicable notice and consumer remedies remain available; purchased benefits are not made non-refundable merely by this clause.
09Acceptable use
Do not use the service to threaten or exploit others, submit unlawful content, bypass access or usage controls, extract credentials, disrupt the service, resell access, or automate abusive requests. Do not represent app-generated commentary as a verified biblical quotation or as a message from God. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect others, or comply with law, subject to applicable rights.
10Content ownership and sharing
The World English Bible text is in the public domain. Bible Bestie branding, original designs, recordings, podcasts, artwork, and other original materials are owned by Future Gen Sync LLC or their respective rights holders. You may use the app’s sharing and export features as provided, including sharing verse cards for personal purposes. Keep required attribution or watermarks unless your plan provides removal. Access does not permit extracting or redistributing a premium content catalog, selling recordings, or misrepresenting ownership.
11Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, error-free content, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Future Gen Sync LLC is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability or consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded. You retain all mandatory protections available under applicable law.
12Apple, changes, and contact
Apple is not the provider of Bible Bestie or its support. App Store purchases and licensed app use are also subject to the applicable Apple terms, including Apple’s standard licensed application agreement where it applies. We may update these terms and will provide notice of material changes when required. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
